IN THE BEGINNING GOD…

From the very beginning of all things we see clearly that YAH the God of ALL creation set things in order and stated what is. However throughout time man has inserted his own viewpoint, his own interpretation regarding the order of YAH and even presuming to know the reason WHY, YAH did what he did and does what he does. There is no greater example of this than in the area of marriage, with marriage being one of the areas of life that every single culture and people group engage in on earth.

That being said within the body of so called believers there should be a singular consensus as to what marriage is according to the holy scriptures. The religious groups based on the torah and the prophets, Judaism, Christianity and Islam do not agree on marriage, denominations within christianity whether they be Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Hebrew Israelites or whatever new denomination has sprouted up since you sat down to read this post, do not agree on what the biblical order of marriage is.

The main contentions within the subject of marriage are, divorce, remarriage and whether monogamy is God’s only so called “ideal” or if polygyny (one man with multiple wives), commonly erroneously called polygamy (multiple partners male or female) is “allowed / permissable / acceptable” by God. Within this post we will be looking into whether monogamy only is what YAH has designed for man to engage in, if not, then what is the hidden origin of the monogamy only position taken by the majority of christians and bible believers across all denominations

Now, if you have read at any length through this site, listened to our podcasts, watched our youtube videos or engaged with our patreon, you would see very clearly that polygyny is indeed not just acceptable by YAH the God of Israel and the holy scriptures, but blessed by YAH.

As stated over and over again, ad-nauseum, the order of biblical marriage is not dependant on acceptance of monogamy only or polygyny as a doctrinal position, however, once you understand what biblical marriage is, you understand that polygyny is a choice and monogamy only is like a cult headed up by satan himself.

So where do we find this false doctrine of monogamy only within the holy scriptures? Well, you will not find it in the canon of scripture in the west but you will find the account in the ethiopic canon of scriptures in the east. To locate the origin of the monogamy only doctrine we need to read the book of Enoch.

[ENOCH book 1 Chapter 6] And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’ And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it.  And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, 

This is the first and only time in the scriptures that we see ONE wife as being any type of standard, and as we read on we see that the fallen angels were teaching standards and knowledge that is still used and adhered to until this very day, that caused man to sin back then and still has the same effect on society today, increasing ungodliness.

This passage of scripture is backed up by the prophecy of the apostle Paul, who declared by the holy spirit that the leaders of the church would depart from the faith listening to seducing spirits and teaching demonic doctrines which was actually fulfilled and detailed in the post entitled FORBIDDING TO MARRY

The monogamy only doctrine is so heinous that the holy spirit calls it the teaching of devils, think on that. Can you find another passage by the apostles directly attributing doctrine to devils ? This alone proves why this topic is of prime importance.

In The Beginning God, put everything in order, when we use words and standards that do not originate from YAH God then we have removed ourselves from his straight and narrow way.

Biblical marriage is not primarily about the amount of wives a man has, biblical marriage is about LOVE, it is a revelation of the love of MessiYAH YAHushuWaH to the church. Whether a man has one wife like Isaac or multiple wives like Abram / Abraham and Jacob / Israel, love, in accordance with the standard that God, who is love, is the key, the goal and most importantly, the will of YAH God.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. – Eph 5:22-33 KJV
