WHOSE RULES ARE YOU LIVING BY

Share with:

1 John 5 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

According to scripture, the majority of believers come to believe or have faith in YAH God but then proceed to live their lives by different rules and standards than what YAH has laid out for us to live by.

The purpose of this post is to get you to examine yourself.

2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV — Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

examine

/ĭg-zăm′ĭn/
transitive verb
  1. To observe carefully or critically; inspect.examined the room for clues.
  2. To study or analyze.examine a tissue sample under a microscope; examine the structure of a novel; examine one’s own motives.
  3. To test or check the condition or health of.examine a patient.

You can start bybasking yourselves these three simple questions;

  • Is what I believe about ________ biblical ?
  • Am I living according to the commandments of YAH God with regards to __________ ?
  • If I hold the bible like a mirror up to my life, would it look godly / holy ?

The fact of the matter is that YaHushuWaH aka Jesus is coming back to judge the living and the dead, and he has already made it very clear that

Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

Matthew 7

So it would be a good thing to examine yourself as the scriptures state…

1 Corinthians 11:31 KJV — For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Then, the solution is very simple, humble oneself, then repent, turn your life around in obedience towards YAH God

Proverbs 16:6 KJV — By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of YAH  men depart from evil.

WHOSE SONG ARE YOU SINGING?

Colossians 3:16 KJV — Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Shalom Love and Blessings in MessiYAH
