ARE YOU A ROMANIZER ?

Acts 16:21 KJV — And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

I have erroneously and falsely been accused of being a judaizer by people who do not know me.

The question I ask now is

Are YOU a Romanizer?

Let’s find out.

The Roman citizens were very clear about their status as Roman citizens in relation to the preaching and teaching of the Apostles, who were simply obeying the instructions of MessiYah YAHushuWaH.

Matthew 28:18-20 KJV — And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

And for good measure let us also read from the amplified version.

Matthew 28:18-20 AMP — Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

So we can clearly see that the way of Christ / MessiYAH which is the way of holiness unto YAH

Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Hebrews 12 KJV

It is sad to see that the customs that were instructed by YAHushuWaH, declared and taught by his Apostles have been traded in for Roman lifestyle standards that are completely incompatible with being a disciple of Christ/MessiYAH

…If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…

John 8:31-32 KJV
