WHY LACK ?
The question we are dealing with today is one that affects the whole church the body of believers in the MessiYAH YAHushuWaH aka Jesus the Christ. Why is there so much lack in the body of believers? Why are there so many church members struggling to make ends meet, yet, so many of them give their tithes and their offerings faithfully?
The following scriptures should at least be able to give you a clue as to why and also how this situation can be remedied
And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work: — 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV
I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. — Psalm 37:25 KJV
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. — Matthew 14:20 KJV
Then Jesus called his disciples [unto him], and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. — Matthew 15:32 KJV
So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke [them] and gave [them] to His disciples; and the disciples [gave] to the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. — Matthew 15:35-37 NKJV
And all that believed were together, and had all things common; — Acts 2:44 KJV
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any [of them] that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. — Acts 4:32 KJV
And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. — Acts 11:27-30 KJV
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first [day] of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as [God] hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by [your] letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem. And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me. — 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 KJV
