SPIRITUAL & CARNAL – SOWING & REAPING
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. — James 1:22 KJV
One of the questions I like to ask believers is
How many suggestions did Christ and the Apostles and the Prophets make ?
It’s quite simple…
They taught instructions NOT suggestions
John 17:20-21 KJV — Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
It is imperative to come to an understanding that YaHushuWaH said what he meant and meant what he said.
We have entered a time where everything is optional, and there is always an alternate, or personal, version of truth.
I encourage you to meditate on the passage from John 17 quoted above and then continue reading. In fact, I encourage you to think on those words of the MessiYah daily, and ask him to reveal the depth of truth and blessings as you abide in it.
Let’s continue…
The Apostles stated…
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, [is it] a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? — 1 Corinthians 9:11 KJV
So I ask you, is it a great thing? Is it to difficult? A burden? A chore?
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
How much is the word being taught to you worth ? Is it important to you? How important?
Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
Isn’t it amazing, how people can twist scriptures and apply it to whatever they want, but, here we have the Apostles by the leading of the Holy Spirit, in obedience to ha Mashiach stating clearly that the way you sow into the one who teaches you the word, is a direct correlation on how you treat God, AMAZING !
You either honour YAH God, or mock him, by the way you honour the teacher of his word.
Let me be clear, just because someone can quote scriptures, sound spiritual and make you feel good, does NOT mean that individual is teaching the word of,Yah God, that hustle has been going on for many years and is now being exposed, however, it is morphing into YouTube and other social media based ministries, where those who are not called to teach are grifting on biblical sound bites.
We have definitely entered into the time prophesied by Apostle Paul, wherein many are heaping teachers unto themselves having itching ears. They ensure that you have all the necessary buttons that you can push instantly, to quickly and securely transfer your hard earned money to them, before the feeling of that feel good message or the guilt of the fear message wears off.
for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting…. Galatians 6
When you sow to a true teacher of the word you are sowing to the Spirit, sadly, many are sowing to the flesh via false teachers.
How you deal with this issue is actually linked to eternal life, think on that, so, be careful who you sow into, what you sow and how you sow.
Galatians 6:9 KJV — And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
If you understand about growing any form of produce, you will understand the process and the time needed for sowing and reaping. In this microwave age, everyone expects things the day before yesterday, packaged and labelled. Be patient, what you sow will surely return, maybe not in the form you sowed, but you will reap what you sow, be assured of that.
I could go quite in depth on this subject alone, however, I pray the holy spirit, give you understanding going forward as you walk in him.
2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV — But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
