SHAMEFACED WOMEN… WHY?
A shameless woman shall be counted as a dog; but she that is shamefaced will fear YAH.
Sir 26:25 [KJV]

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF SHAMELESS?

So, shameless has no shame; is lacking in modesty; immodest; impudent; audacious; insensible to disgrace. Done without shame; indicating or characterized by lack of shame; as, a shameless disregard of honesty.
Synonyms Unblushing, brazen; profligate, reprobate, abandoned, incorrigible.
We see in the scripture above taken from Sirach 26, that shameless is the opposite to shamefaced or shamefacedness.
The question that we are looking into is not just what shamefaced means, but, what it means specifically for women. How is it applied, or more correctly how does a woman apply this to herself. There is obviously according to scripture rewards or blessings attached for the woman.
A shamefaced and faithful woman is a double grace, and her continent mind cannot be valued.
Sir 26:15 [KJV]
Aidos or Aedos (/ˈiːdɒs/;[1] Greek: Αἰδώς, pronounced [ai̯dɔ̌ːs]) was the Greek personification of either shame or modesty.[2] Aidos, as a quality, was that feeling of reverence or shame which restrains men from wrong. It also encompassed the emotion that a rich person might feel in the presence of the impoverished, that their disparity of wealth, whether a matter of luck or merit, was ultimately undeserved. Ancient and Christian humility share common themes: they both reject egotism, self-centeredness, arrogance, and excessive pride; they also recognize human limitations.
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.
