Opinion vs Obedience

…There is a way that SEEMS right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death

King Solomon

There are two major catch phrases within not just the world but the majority of believers. And they use these two catch phrases before even quoting or talking about scripture and it’s meaning. Those two catchphrases are.. .

I THINK….

and

I FEEL

Because of these two common catchphrases and ways of processing information the majority of believers live their lives believing that they can do 99% of what we are commanded to do by YAH God through Jesus Christ aka YAHushua the messiYAH and continue to do 1% of what we want, which is the very definition of iniquity.

The majority then justify this type of lifestyle by stating another popular catchphrase…

God understands…

So what does the prophet of YAH God say about that after King Saul did exactly the same thing?

…. Has YAHaWaH as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the YAH?

Behold, TO OBEY is better than sacrifice, and TO LISTEN than the fat of rams…

1 Samuel 15

Not only do people state that God understands but they also state that we are only human implying that it is inevitable and unavoidable to break the commandments of YAH, however the Apostles state clearly that….

…All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…

Apostle Paul

Also….

…to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power has GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS that [pertain] unto life and godliness, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue: WHEREBY ARE GIVEN UNTO US EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust…

Apostle Peter

So we see by these two short passages that there is simply no excuse before YAH which is why he states that he will be brutally harsh with those who obey part of what what he says and live the rest of their life by their own opinions fuelled by feeling or their own vain imaginations

…And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity..

Jesus / YAHushua in Matthew 7

…But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity

Jesus / YAHushua in Luke 13

Amazingly when he tells the workers of iniquity to depart and they plead with him about all the good stuff they’ve done for him in his name miracles, good works etc etc etc he said he will declare that he never even knew them.

But why?

Well because Jesus / YAHushua was very clear…

He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him

YAHushua aka Jesus recorded in John 14

…If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him…

YAHushua aka Jesus recorded in John 14

The reality of faith and walking in holiness of being a disciple of Jesus aka YAHushua is not called the straight and narrow way for nothing.

Our opinions have no bearing on the commandments of God or on the words of Jesus / YAHushua.

Too many times believers think that the sacrifice of praise will make everything okay when they are living a life of iniquity.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, SENT HIM TO BLESS YOU, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities

Stephen the first martyr for YAHushua aka Jesus

The only thing opinions do is stop the blessings that the messiYAH has for you.

Before you say that you feel or think something about scripture or about living a holy godly life take the time to find out through prayer and the scriptures what his will and commandments say, because there are blessings waiting for you in your obedience and the Father and the son want to make their abode with you

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. — John 14:23-24 KJV
