— Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

Titus 2:3-5 ESV

One of the main comments I find when speaking to other men is the problem of finding a GOOD woman, a woman who is not a Destinys Child wannabe.

However, there seems to be a famine of older women teaching or training younger women how to be good wives on how to be Proverbs 31 women

Who can find a woman of virtue? For her value is far above jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, so that he has no lack of gain. She deals good with him, and not evil, all the days of her life.

That being said I have come across a book by a woman who takes her roll and responsibility as a God designed woman created to help her man, very seriously.

Biblical marriage is oneness . Most people, who claim to be married, do not in fact have a Biblical marriage. They do, however, have various trappings of culture, society, or the government which they think signify that they are married. Some of them feel intuitively, but are unable to articulate, that something is missing or that they lack a clear plan forward. A marriage has functional meaning. Wishing it to be a marriage does not make it so!

Let me be clear: Ceremonies, government licenses, white dresses, veils, mortgages, and rings cannot cause two people to become one.

I hope that we can start to see that these trinkets do not have any power, in and of themselves, and are at most a visible sign or recognition of an inward reality. At worst, these trinkets, and the multibillion-dollar industry that has grown up around them, are a worldly distraction away from the solemnity and purity of Biblical marriage. These trinkets can allow people to persist in an illusion of marriage which lacks the functional capacity of a Biblical marriage. For the most part, when we refer to marriage in our discussion, we are talking about Biblical marriage as defined by God through scripture. What we do with our lives has to be based on a solid foundation in scripture. The truth of scripture has been tested through the ages and is more reliable than our individual opinions and experiences. It is important that we start with fundamentals before getting into the various corollaries, directives, and labels used in scripture, because we don’t want to minimize the scope of this fundamental concept: Marriage is oneness, joining, or unity.

It would be hard to find a book about marriage with a better grip on biblical doctrine than this book in today’s age where Roman Christianity has perverted people’s understanding of scripture.

Probably the most best kept secret book from true family structure. A must read for men and women who want to build a pure and honest family.
