3 PROOFS THAT YOU ARE IN A PAGAN CHURCH ?
Matthew 16:24 KJV — Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME.
When you survey the overall general landscape of all of christendom, all of the churches that state they believe in Jesus Christ and are followers of his teachings, one thing that is glaringly obvious is that the majority are mostly pagan in practice
Mark 8:34 KJV — And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME.
What do I mean by pagan I can hear many ask in an offended tone
Mark 10:21 KJV — Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, TAKE UP THE CROSS, AND FOLLOW ME.
Well just to clarify let us us look at what the definition of pagan is.
Luke 9:23 KJV — And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY, AND FOLLOW ME.
So what we can see and ascertain from this rather in-depth look at paganism is that it is in practice and beliefs completely contrary to the teachings of Christ Jesus and the commandments of God in the scriptures
2 Thessalonians 3:14-15 KJV — And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count [him] not as an enemy, but admonish [him] as a brother.
We see that at the birth of of the church from the very beginning, there was a specific set apart direction as noted in the book of the Acts of the apostles
Acts 2:42 KJV — And they continued stedfastly in THE APOSTLES’ DOCTRINE and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

So it is indeed accurate to state that any practice that has its origins in paganism is contrary to taking up the cross and following Jesus Christ / YAHushua The MessiYAH
So what we will do here is simply point out just 3 of the main and major points that denote that you are in a church that is indeed pagan in practice and are not adhering to the apostles’ doctrine, God’s commandments or the teachings of Jesus Christ.

1. The church building
Ephesians 2:22 KJV — In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
In the letters of the apostles we are told specifically that the born again members of of the body of Christ ARE the church building
1 Peter 2:5 KJV — Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
From the beginning believers met in houses, breaking bread from house to house. It was the persecution of the early disciples.
Matthew 18:20 KJV — For where two or three are GATHERED TOGETHER IN MY NAME, there am I in the midst of them.
Then subsequently Constantine merging the principles of following Jesus Christ with practices of paganism to bring about the form of Christianity that is so widely spread across the Earth today.
2. Sunday Morning Service
Now this one is huge, in that there are so many facets within this, that are contrary to biblical doctrine, including the pastors customary sermon, address or message that it really is best to properly study the scriptures or include reading the book Pagan Christianity if you want to get an in-depth look at how today’s church practices are contrary to biblical church practice simply stick to what the apostles stated in the Gospels and in the church letters, taking note of their references to the law and the prophets commonly known as the old testament.
I will touch on just one point though, that will decimate the Sunday morning assembly or Church services.
1 Corinthians 11:20-21 KJV — When ye COME TOGETHER therefore INTO ONE PLACE, [this] is not to eat the Lord’s SUPPER. For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own SUPPER: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
The Apostle Paul is here speaking about what we do when we assemble together and why we assemble together as believers.
He repeatedly uses the word supper so we know that the practice of assembling together under the apostles leadership was in the evening.
I will leave that point there, because I can go very much deeper proving they did not assemble on a Sunday morning, but more on that in another post.
3. The role and ordination of pastors etc
Across the world we have the practice of succession of leadership, especially amongst pastors however when you read the scriptures we read that being a pastor is a gift that was given by Christ to men to serve the church
Ephesians 4:11 KJV — And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
The understanding here is that HE, Jesus Christ AKA YAHushua The MessiYAH is the one that gifts men in the functions of these roles, not man.
This is not the same when it comes to a bishop or deacon which has specific requirements that any man if he has a desire to fulfill that role must fulfill to be eligible to be either a bishop or a deacon

So here you see just three of the multiple pagan practices that many including you probably engage in
A raised platform or stage to preach from is Pagan
The lectern or pulpit = Pagan
The altar at the front of the church = Pagan
ALL Church buildings new and old = Pagan
So, if all of that AND MORE, is Pagan and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth that leads us into ALL Truth, what spirit have these churches, believers, followers and members been dealing with?
From what scripture states, it is seducing spirits, doctrines of devils and strong delusion
John 4:23-24 KJV — But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE worshippers shall worship the Father in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
